Toby and Lesley Chapman met while both living in Lebanon and travelled around the Middle East for another 6 years before spending a year working in a fine food shop in Virginia Beach, USA. They returned to the UK and opened Deli on the Quay in 2008 with the idea of making a more delicious alternative to most take away food. The Deli quickly established itself as a fantastic café serving freshly made quiches, salads, sandwiches, a delicious variety of cakes and, many say, the best coffee in Poole. All this, alongside fantastic views of Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island.
